Our Farm
Located in Huatusco, Mexico at a staggering 1250 m above sea level, Rancho León was founded in 1954 by Italian immigrants. It is our main coffee farm, producing our famous 100% organic arabica coffee beans. Growing at such high altitudes means that the coffee beans go through a longer maturation process, providing the bean with a fuller, richer and more pronounced flavour.
The Huatusco area is characterised by having a Mesophile Mountain Forest – a type of forest that is unique for its mega diversity. The organically grown and handpicked process helps create the extraordinary flavours and aromas that can be found in our signature Espresso Coffee.

WHY ORGANIC?
Coffee is best when it’s pure: free from pesticides, hormones and chemicals. That’s why all our beans are organically grown by local independent farmers. Our Huatusco range, rich with intense vanilla, chocolate and citrus notes, has an 87 Q scale rating. The beans go through a 4 year maturation process, and are then lovingly hand picked and roasted using the wet and the honey process.
